Capacity building

Through our Microfinance and Small Business Finance programmes, we finance micro-loans as well as small business requirements. Both of these activities are great poverty alleviation tools. But we need to do more, much more, to reach out to those still excluded from these tools and services.  

Supporting the right technologies and innovations at the right time can have a disproportionately favourable impact on the volume and quality of poverty reduction.  

This capacity building approach covers both upstream initiatives to attract more investors into the area of economic development and downstream initiatives to expand outreach and opportunity.
